MISSING IN LICHFIELD, ENGLAND

File:Lichfield Collage.jpg
On a dry windy morning, two students by name Myla and Joel from Birmingham, England went in search of a job opportunity and fortunately, a job was found at Lichfield, a district in staffordshire, England.
They commenced their journey to this great district at about 9am with great enthusiasm. A train was taken from birmingham to Lichfield which lasted for about 40minutes. On arriving at the Lichfield City Centre, there was a need for a bus in order to get to their final destination called Fradley Arms. These students got on a bus going to Fradley with the idea that Fradley arms should be a popular place in Fradley but unknown to them, Fradley Arms was a restaurant and so not really known by most people. On their way, Myla decided to ask the bus driver of Fradley Arms bus stop and that how the reality befell these students.
The driver told them, ''This bus isn't going to that direction but to Fradley Park. I'll drop you at a close bus stop'', this was a great relief to them and the driver did as he promised. They continued their journey from the bus stop which was located at a Fradley Park roundabout with 4ways. the student walked into through these 4roads but none led to their destination and could not retrace their steps, different people were asked about the direction, taxi's were called but none came to their aid and claimed being really busy. Unfortunately, they were told that public transport doesn't pass through that direction and if they are determined to get to their destination, its was advisable to walk  through the express road and they might be lucky to reach there after 30mins walk.
The confusing thing about this journey, was that no one could tell them exactly how to get to their destination even if its needed walking but they tried to figure it out on their own, still no way and so a decision was made to return to Birmingham.
They continued to make a merry-go-round and until a patriotic citizen dircted them to a nearby bus stop which was expected in an hour's time, finally, the bus to Lichfield City Centre arrived  but the students were with  few coins and pleaded with the driver to collect cash in note which he refused and so the bus driver instructed them to step out of the bus.Joel gave his coins to Myla to get to City Centre and bring a cab while he wait patiently for her returned.
Finally, Myla came back with a cab and they went home happily but without a job.

NOTE: 9ja's please don't begin a journey based on your idea, intuition or whatever you might called it because anybody can get lost at any place if you make one stupid mistake. Make enough enquiry, research before commencing on any journey.
Stop believing on ''i am omo 9ja, i can find my way anytime and anywhere'',this is England.

  1. well a good blog but its also advisable that in this era of technology, google maps or any other navigational software could have been employed to avert any confusion, also it is essential that when travelling to an unknown place, one avails himself of all the necessary information about the place and the appropriate currency for transport
