TWO LESBIANS ARRESTED IN ANAMBRA STATE MAY BE FACING 14YEARS JAIL TERM

The police in Ogidi Anambra state have arrested two young ladies identified as Chioma from Umudioka in Dunukofia council area and one Amaka for allegedly engaging in lesbianism.

The suspects, according to a police source, were caught while indulging in the unholy act in a beer parlour belonging to one of them.

Members of the homosexuality and lesbianism family in the state have started mobilising lawyers to make sure that the two ladies and their other members currently in police net are not sent to jail. 

It was further gathered that the lesbianism family are now mobilising funds from their members in other parts of the state ahead of their legal expenses.
A source also told us that Ogidi Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Isah Mohammed has vowed to make sure that the suspects are jailed so as to serve as a deterrent to others. It would be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan recently signed into law a bill prohibiting gay and lesbianism.

One of the suspects who was interviewed, confessed to the crime, saying it was the handiwork of the devil. She said “Please, one of my sisters is staying in her shop at Ochanga Market in Onitsha, and I don’t have her phone number off head. Please help me beg the police to allow me call her. I will never live in such dirty life again” She pleaded.

When contacted, the DPO,confirmed the story insisting that the matter must go to court. He further adviced any concerned persons should meet the police at the court.adding that it is where they “can seek for the bail of the accused dirty ladies for their alleged actions.”

According to the Nigeria’s anti-gay law, the suspects risk 14 years jail term each if convicted.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton while on east coast tour, decided to stop at Brooklyn on Monday night to watch a basketball game.

Prince Williams along with Kate who wore a Tory Burch coat, black jeans and matching pumps were on hand to celebrate the partnership between his charity, United for Wildlife, and the NBA to help fight illegal wildlife trafficking.

The royal couple were having so much fun at Brooklyn and they even shared popcorn together. They are so adorable.

During a quick whistle break between the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers, Queen Bey and Jay Z walked across the court for a quick chat with the royal couple.
“Jay Z wished Will and Kate ‘Merry Christmas’ when he was talking to them,” an eyewitness told PEOPLE of the meeting.

KIM KARDASHIAN AND KANYE WEST DIVORCE RUMOURS

 Kim K, 34, and Kanye West, 37, have only been married for bearly 7months and divorce rumours are already in the air. The duo tied thier knot in May 2014 and like every marriage, they are hitting a rough patch in their marriage but Kim is said to be preparing for her divorce with kanye and will be fighting for custody of their daughter, North West after Kanye refused to show up for Thanksgiving.

According to the report, its been revealed that Kim was mortified that Kanye didnt show up for Thanksgiving and that it was ''the last straw for her. She is getting ready to file divorce papers''.

She has also gone ahead to visit a high-powered attorney in Los Amgeles concerning the split.

The reports also included that Kim’s biggest issue is that “Kanye’s too controlling. Kanye just doesn’t care that Kim’s upset about Thanksgiving. He’ll continue to do what he wants when he wants, and it’s kind of Kim’s problem because she knew who he was when she married him.”

 The source reveals that things took a turn for the worse once Kim signed on to do another season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. “He’d told her he didn’t want her to do it, but she took the deal her mother had brokered for her. That was really a breaking point.”

 

While Kanye may have missed Thanksgiving by being out of the country a source exclusively mentioned that the pair is just fine. An insider revealed more by saying”Naw. He’s just working, that’s all. It’s the end of the year, time to go out with a bang, he’s heading home. Everything is fine.”

Khloe Kardashian, 30, on the other hand is worried that Kanye is missing out on North's Big moments since their daughter is learning how to speak, how to walk and run. she’s developing and she loves being around her family and Kanye’s missing out.” She went on to say that Kim is not the only one who wants Kanye around more often''.

KANYE WEST PLANS TO MOVE OUT OF KRIS JENNER'S HOUSE WITH FAMILY

Its been over a year and a half since Kanye moved into Kris' Hidden Hills home with wife Kim Kardashian and few months after moving in baby North joined them. Kanye seems to have had it to the brim with living under the Kardashian matriarch's roof and his now set out to find a new accommodation with his family.

On the other hand, Kris Jenner once gushed out about her son-in-law Kanye West being a great roommate but it seems the feelings are not mutual.

A source reveals that Kanye is “worn out” from living his life Kardashian style, which involves dodging paparazzi constantly and trying to remain calm while dealing with the super-inflated egos of all of Kris’ kids. While Kim is a California girl through and through, Kanye reportedly believes that the only way to make his family situation work is to take them away from the media circus that follows their every move in L.A.

An insider also added that Kanye  is trying hard to convince Kim that they need a new home in either New York or Paris, where they can enjoy a bit more privacy.

The paparazzi may be a major part of Kanye’s desire to leave L.A. behind, but they’re far from the only reason he wants out. “He wants to get the hell away from Kris and her games,” says a source.

JOAN RIVERS HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN REPLACED ON FASHION POLICE

There has been so much discussions and arguments about Kathy Griffin stepping in for late Joan Rivers. Despite all the talks, Griffin received an official confirmation to replace her friend, Rivers on E!'s Fashion Police.

Here are the details:

After Rivers passed away on Sept. 4, rumors began to fly about Griffin joining Fashion Police. Now, according to E!, Griffin will join Giuliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne on the show. Plus, stylist Brad Goreski will also join the show, replacing George Kotsiopoulos.

The show won't be on every week. It will return on Jan. 12, 2015 for a Golden Globes episode. In total, it will air 17 episodes in 2015.

Rivers' daughter and Executive Producer of Fashion Police, Melissa Rivers, made a statement about the new additions to the show. She revealed, "Kathy just feels right, and Brad brings a fun, new voice to join Giuliana and Kelly in this ensemble. I'm excited to see where this panel takes this series my mother so adored in this next incarnation."

US PRESIDENT'S DAUGHTERS RECEIVES AN APOLOGY FROM A REPUBLICAN OFFICIAL

Sasha and Malia Obama were criticised for their outfits at the annual turkey pardoning event at the White House.

Elizabeth Lauten who is the communications director for congressman Stephen Fincher, accused the US President Barack Obama's daughters of showing disrespect and also lacking class as they appear at the Thanksgiving Ceremony in short skirts.

After sharp criticism, Ms Lauten aapologized for her "hurtful words".

She had drawn attention to the short skirts worn by the Obama girls.

She had also accused the two teenagers of looking bored when they stood with their father at the traditional turkey pardoning event at the White House, when the president spared two birds from the national dinner table.

The post goes on to advise the girls to "rise to the occasion and act like being in the White House matters to you".

In her apology, Ms Lauten wrote: "After many hours of prayer, talking to my parents, and re-reading my words online I can see more clearly just how hurtful my words were.

"I'd like to apologize to all of those who I have hurt and offended with my words, and I pledge to learn and grow (and I assure you I have) from this experience."

She pointed out that she "had judged the two young ladies in a way that I would never have wanted to be judged myself as a teenager".

Sasha and Malia are among the youngest presidential children at the White House for years.

Their parents have strived to protect them from media attention as they go to school, play sports and socialize.

BEYONCÉ SHARES SOME DIVORCE IN DEPTH STORIES

In one of the two new songs from Beyoncé's re-release of her self-titled fifth studio album, ''Ring Off'' she adreessed the marriage difference between her parents,Tina and Matthew rather than her marriage and Jay Z as people rumored.

She specifically mentioned that, it's an ode to her mother, and her strength during her years as a wife and her independence in the years since.

(The other song Queen Bey released is "7/11" is a dance-friendly jam with a very goofy music video. These were part of the lyrics- "Mama, I understand your many sleepless nights / When you sit and you think about Father / Or how you tried to be the perfect wife.''

"So tired of the lies and trying, fighting, crying ... Took that ring off... Oh, now the fun begins ... Dust yourself off and you love again ... You found a new man, now you shine and you're fine... Like it's my time, you took that ring off." She sings in the track.

She also tells her mom to put her "love on top," a reference to the title of Beyoncé's 2011 hit.

QUEEN LATIFAH'S TALK SHOW CANCELLED

Fans of Queen Latifah’s talk show only have until March to soak up new episodes. 

The show has been cancelled by Sony TV as they show some appreciation to Dana (Queen Latifah) saying ''We want to thank Dana (Queen Latifah), the producers and the entire staff of ‘The Queen Latifah Show’ for creating a program that we are all very proud of, thank you also to our terrific station partners and advertisers who supported the show.” 

The show has been consistently pulling in ratings around the 1.3 million mark per episode.


 In response to the news,The Queen — AKA Dana — wrote the following note to herself on her Facebook page:

Dear Dana,
Just a little note to say Thank You…Thank you for your strong work ethic and great effort in getting The Queen Latifah Show off the ground and running. Your dedication and sacrifice was crucial to the entire team, and in the face of intense challenges, you displayed “True Grit”!
Your Family, Partners, Staff and Crew showed up with you every step of the way. Be very proud of that! Not everyone can say the same. You can also say you have been a blessing to and been blessed by amazing guests and incredible audiences for this show.

DYING OF ARMPIT HAIR BY GIRLS-CRAZY TREND

This ridiculous dying of armpit hair has become the latest trend among young girls. This new trend has encourage girls to grow their armpit hairs and dye it with bold and bright colours.

One of the people leading this new crazy style is Roxie Hunt, an hair stylist who works with a popular Seattle salon Vain . 

She is really insisting that women should embrace their underarm hair rather than feeling forced to shave it off or hide it.  She stated on a blog post for off Beat Homes that, It's no secret that some of us choose not to shave or wax our pits.

'More and more often, I am meeting women who un-apologetically choose not to succumb to the societal pressure of scraping a razor against the soft skin of their bodies. If you recall, I want to celebrate pit hair.'

Roxie went on to ask one of her colleagues at the salon to help her test out the best armpit dying technique and offers a wealth of tips and advice to any women wanting to try out the trend for themselves. 

'I have always wanted to color someone's pit hair... I asked my co-worker Rain if she would be down to let me dye her pit hair blue to match her hair color and she agreed, heartily,' she wrote'

I began by mixing bleach and 30 volume developer. I knew I needed something strong enough to cut through that coarse hair and lighten it up as much as possible, but I didn't want to use 40 volume because I didn't want to cause any uncomfortable burning on the delicate skin in her pits.

'First, I had Rain wipe her pits down to remove any deodorant that might be lingering. 

'Then, I got right in there with my bleach and color brush, applying it thick in small sweeping strokes in all directions, making sure to fully cover every hair.'

And Roxie is not the only one embracing this new trend. 

Dozens of women on Instagram have been sharing images of their own brightly-colored armpits using the hashtag #dyedpits, while on YouTube, hundreds of users have posted videos about dying your armpit hair, including a number of in-depth tutorials.

TYLER PERRY'S ACTRESS IN ''WHY DID I GET MARRIED'' GETS A RESTRAINING ORDER FROM HUSBAND

Actress Tasha Smith is well known for playing the woman with a ton of edge in most Tyler Perry productions, like Why Did I Get Married and Daddy’s Little Girls. But it looks like the actress has been acting like quite the bad girl in real life. 

According to TMZ, Tasha’s husband, Keith Douglas, recently got a court order for his wife to stay away from him.

The courts have ordered Tasha, who still resides with her hubby, to keep a distance of 2 yards when they’re in the home together, and 100 yards when not on the shared property.

In court documents, Tasha’s hubby claims that his wife flies in to drunken rages and has even threatened to kill him or have others hurt him. Sometimes, he alleges, she even warned him to “not fall asleep or something will happen.” Keith also claims that Tash has threatened him in front of his children (the couple share no kids together) and he’s even had to leave the home several times to get out of her way.

Until there is a full hearing, Tasha will remain at home with her husband... at a distance.

Sources close to Tasha tell TMZ that the allegations are completely ridiculous and that Tasha has no issues with alcohol.

We can only hope that the couple can resolve this problem soon.

BLACK FRIDAY BEGINS-CUSTOMERS GO CRAZY IN SUPERMARKETS OVER BARGAIN ITEMS

The Black Friday phenomenon has spread to the UK in recent years after becoming a big hit in the U.S., where traditionally big sales occur on the first Friday after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Today is expected to be the UK's biggest day of spending this year, with the majority of stores – both online and in the high street – heavily discounting an array of goods.

As the Black Friday begins, several UK supermarkets are experiencing fight break out among customers. The major retail websites have also crashed due to a 'huge demand' as bargain-hunters desperately try to get their hands on cut-price goods in the Black Friday sales.

Websites such as Boots,Games,Argos, Tesco and Currys have experienced technical difficulties this morning as customers frantically try to snap up discounted discounted items including everything from flat screen TVs, coffee machines and toys to home wares, furnishings and clothing.

Desperate shoppers were seen scrapping as they tried to get their hands on what appeared to be one of Tesco's best-selling market items - a Blaupunkt HD TV, which had just £60 off the original price. 

The Tesco Extra store in Stretford was closed just 36 minutes after opening as staff attempted to break up fights between customers, during which one woman was injured after being hit by a falling TV. 

Greater Manchester Police said two people were arrested at Black Friday sales events as they were called to seven stores across the city, before writing on its Twitter page: 'Keep calm people.'

One man was arrested on suspicion of assault in the Tesco store in Salford after allegedly telling a staff member that he would 'smash their face in'.

Another 42-year-old man was arrested over an alleged assault at the store in Tesco, Burnage, while two men were kicked out of a store in Central Park, Wigan.  

Hundreds of people also refused to leave the store on Barton Road, Middleton, despite staff telling them repeatedly that all stock had been sold. At the store in Stockport Road, Hattersley, another man was arrested for a public order offence. 

Shaun Thompson, 21, described how 'all hell broke lose' at the Stretford store. He said: 'Tesco had got a queueing system in place at about 11pm but that fell down pretty quickly.

'It was getting more heated by the minute and the next thing, at about ten to midnight, voices got raised. The shouting went through the roof, then all hell broke loose. They were ripping the plastic off the palettes and people started fighting.

'One girl, who can't have been more than 16, picked up some advent calendars and flung them across the shop. I saw a member of staff leaving with a black eye. It was something I would never like to experience again.' 

Scotland Yard confirmed officers had been called to at least four stores in London, including in Willesden, Surrey Quays, Edmonton and Edgware, following frantic reports of crowd surges and scuffles.

THE NEWS EVERYONE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR-BEYONCÉ PREPARES FOR BABY NO. 2

It seems Beyoncé might be preparing for the baby no. 2 as rumors have it that the 'XO' singer and her husband Jay Z are looking to get pregnant this Christmas.  Despite the divorce rumors surrounding them, including that Bey was lawyering up and shopping for a new place to hang her queen Bey crown without Jay Z, the first family of hip hop is still crazy in love. Blue Ivy will make a sweet big sister as the parents increase the family number.

The couple, who have been married for six years renewed their vows recently, putting an end to all the rumors that their marriage was on the rocks. 

Bey’s dad, and former manager, Mathew Knowles said, the entire stunt was  in fact just that — a stunt. Was the entire thing a publicity stunt to promote the couple’s “On The Run” tour? Papa Knowles seems pretty sure of it, but Beyoncé and her dad don’t have the closest relationship anymore, so we’re not taking his word for it just yet.

Indeed, as soon as they wrapped their “On the Run” tour, things seemed to almost magically turn around, with the power pair being spotted shopping for some Parisian real estate together and having a good time together.

Jordin Sparks and Jason Durelo who splitted their 3 years relationship in September promised themselves to have an amicable separation and to stay friends.
